Man What a Job
Keel fractured and swelled into the bottom of boat a real feat removing it
Keel removed but the real job is in just moving it from under boat to garage
I could not budge the heavy keel so I hooked my tractor to it and dragged it into the garage
I thought that was Fun Oh Boy it has just begun, Hammer and chiseling
Now I am getting down to the guts of the matter, Wood will have to be replaced for shape and metal will have to be ground and treated. Not much left of this important part, not to worry I do collision repair for a living
Completly stripped and treated
Now What did that thing look like? Ha Ha
Beginning to take shape again
New treated wood cut and attache3d to steel ready for Glassing
First Fiberglass Coat Man it sure is itchy in here
Kinda looking like it did I hope!
Keel Done! As Much as I am Going to do
Fiberglassed Primed and then Rhino Liner reduced and sprayed on, Hardest most durable finish I could think of.
